While designing our houseboats, we have
endeavoured to bring about a confluence of modernity and ethnicity.
Plush interiors, fresh running water and professional yet personal
service will ensure your comfort as you cruise the backwaters.
Activities including angling, canoeing, sightseeing and cultural
performances will offer you a closer look at the fabric of life
woven into these timeless waters.
Cuisine on the backwaters is an integral part of its ethnicity
and we have spared no effort in ensuring that your journey will
be spiced up with many pleasant moments of sampling the local
fare. With a personal chef at your disposal, Karimeen, a local
river fish with its lethal bones and exotic flavour is a must
have! Kappa is Kerala's version of the United States' mashed
potatoes. Steamed or boiled and tempered with mustard and red
chillies and served with an explosively spicy red fish curry
- food for the Gods! And of course, Kallu - an extract from
the coconut tree that is sweet and when left to ferment, it
becomes an intoxicant that has left many a drinker happy!
